Probationary Driver Clause Samples
Probationary Driver. One who has been assigned a regular route and has not yet successfully completed probation. Probationary drivers do not have the recourse to the protection of this contract except for the following.
1. Wage schedule
2. Extra/Sports trips as listed in Article 13 and Article 15 in this agreement.
3. Holiday Pay as listed in Article 19 J in this agreement.
4. Sick leave as listed in Article 8 in this agreement.
5. Voting on Association issues.
6. Attendance at safety meeting and compensation for attendance.
7. Attendance at parent-student meetings and compensation for attendance.
8. Required physical exams.
9. Drug testing.
Probationary Driver. A driver who has been assigned a regular daily run on a 'permanent basis but has not completed his sixty (60) working days probation. Probationary drivers are eligible for field trips only when a regular seniority driver is not available and they meet the requirements of Article IX C.I.
Probationary Driver. A driver who has been employed by the board for less than sixty (60) consecutive working days.
Probationary Driver. A driver who has been employed by the board for less than 60 (sixty) consecutive working days. A substitute driver that already worked 60 (sixty) days and is assigned a regular route will only serve 30 (thirty) consecutive working days as a probationary driver. Exceptions to this must be mutually agreed upon between the Superintendent and the Union.
