Criteria for Selection a. The Sabbatical Selection Committee shall use four (4) criteria for selection of academic employees to receive sabbaticals. These are: the merit of the sabbatical project, the applicant’s current and previous contributions to the College community, the proposal’s relevancy to the College’s Strategic Plan and whether or not the applicant has had a previous sabbatical. In instances where these criteria are equal, seniority shall be the determining factor.
Time for Submission Except as specified below, any claim by Contractor for a change in the Contract Time or the Material Completion and Occupancy Date shall be made within fourteen days of the day on which the Contractor becomes aware of the event on which the claim is based or, if the Contract Documents specify a shorter or longer period with respect to such event, within the period specified by the Contract Documents.
Deadline for Submission of Bids 19.1 Bids must be received by the Purchaser at the address specified under ITB Clause 18.2 no later than the time and date specified in the Bid Data Sheet. 19.2 The Purchaser may, at its discretion, extend this deadline for the submission of bids by amending the bidding documents in accordance with ITB Clause 7, in which case all rights and obligations of the Purchaser and bidders previously subject to the deadline will thereafter be subject to the deadline as extended.
Selection Criteria for Awarding Task Order The Government will award to the offeror whose proposal is deemed most advantageous to the Government based upon an integrated assessment using the evaluation criteria. The Government will evaluate proposals against established selection criteria specified in the task order RFP. Generally, the Government's award decision will be based on selection criteria which addresses past performance, technical acceptability, proposal risk and cost. Among other sources, evaluation of past performance may be based on past performance assessments provided by TO Program Managers on individual task orders performed throughout the life of the contract. The order of importance for the factors will be identified in the RFP for the specified task order.
Address for Service Any notice to be given or served under or arising out of a provision of the Contract must: be in writing; be delivered by hand, sent by prepaid express post or sent by email (except for notices under clauses 14 and 15 which, if sent by email, must additionally be delivered by hand or sent by prepaid express post) to the relevant address or email address: specified in the Contract Particulars; or last notified in writing to the party giving or serving the notice, for the party to whom or upon which the notice is to be given or served; be signed by the party giving or serving the notice or (on the party's behalf) by the solicitor for or attorney, director, secretary or authorised agent of the party giving or serving the notice; and in the case of notices sent by email: be in Portable Document Format (pdf) and appended as an attachment to the email; and include the words "This is a notice under clause 16.7 of the Contract" in the subject field of the email. Receipt of Notices Subject to paragraph (b), a notice given or served in accordance with clause 16.7 is taken to be received by the party to whom or upon whom the notice is given or served in the case of: delivery by hand, on delivery; prepaid express post sent to an address in the same country, on the fifth day after the date of posting; prepaid express post sent to an address in another country, on the seventh day after the date of posting; and email, the earlier of: delivery to the email address to which it was sent; or one hour after the email enters the server of the email address to which it was sent, provided that no delivery or transmission error is received by the sender within one hour of the time of sending shown on the "sent" email. In the case of notices under clauses 14 and 15, if the notice is sent by email as well as being delivered by hand or sent by prepaid express post in accordance with clause 16.7(b), the notice is taken to be received by the party to whom or upon whom the notice is given or served on the earlier of: the date the notice sent by email is taken to be received; or the date the notice delivered by hand or sent by prepaid express post is taken to be received, as determined in accordance with paragraph (a).
Time Off for Selection Procedures A regular, limited-term or probationary employee shall be entitled to necessary time off with pay to participate in tests of fitness, examinations and interviews required by the Chief Human Resources Officer during working hours for the purpose of determining eligibility for movement to another class in the County service or transfer from one agency/department to another.
Sole Source as Grounds for Rejection of a Change Order If a Change Order is submitted to Contractor for the purposes of adding a Bulletin to this Contract and said Bulletin designates a Sole Source from which Contractor is required to procure goods or services necessary to perform the Work, which Sole Source has not been designated previously, Contractor shall be entitled to reject the proposed Change Order if the designated Sole Source refuses to provide to Contractor the warranties, bonds, terms or schedule required under the Contract Documents, including any warranty or terms or schedule required by Bulletins referenced in the proposed Change Order. In such event, Contractor shall give written notice to the Owner rejecting the proposed Change Order and, if possible, shall accompany said written notice with a proposal from Contractor for changes or modifications to the Bulletin so as to eliminate the Sole Source designation but to achieve goods or services equal in quality or function. The Owner may then require the Design Professional to revise the subject Bulletin so as to eliminate the designation of the Sole Source by incorporation of Contractor's proposal or otherwise. Upon revision of the Bulletin by the Design Professional and approval thereof by the Owner, the Owner shall again submit to the Contractor a proposed Change Order for the purpose of adding the revised Bulletin to this Contract. If the Owner decides to retain the Sole Source in the Change Order and Contractor cannot acquire the full contractually required warranties from the Sole Source, Contractor shall be held only to the warranty terms and schedule obtainable from the Sole Source.

Public Contracts for Services [Not applicable to agreements relating to the offer, issuance, or sale of securities, investment advisory services or fund management services, sponsored projects, intergovernmental agreements, or information technology services or products and services] Contractor certifies, warrants, and agrees that it does not knowingly employ or contract with a worker without authorization who will perform work under this Agreement and will confirm the employment eligibility of all employees who are newly hired for employment in the United States to perform work under this Agreement, through participation in the E-Verify Program or the Department program established pursuant to C.R.S. §8-17.5-102(5)(c). Contractor shall not knowingly employ or contract with a worker without authorization to perform work under this Agreement or enter into a contract with a subcontractor that fails to certify to Contractor that the subcontractor shall not knowingly employ or contract with a worker without authorization to perform work under this Agreement. Contractor (a) shall not use E-Verify Program or Department program procedures to undertake pre-employment screening of job applicants while this Agreement is being performed, (b) shall notify the subcontractor and County within three days if Contractor has actual knowledge that a subcontractor is employing or contracting with a worker without authorization for work under this Agreement, (c) shall terminate the subcontract if a subcontractor does not stop employing or contracting with the worker without authorization within three days of receiving the notice, and (d) shall comply with reasonable requests made in the course of an investigation, undertaken pursuant to C.R.S. §8-17.5-102(5), by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. If Contractor participates in the Department program, Contractor shall deliver to County a written, notarized affirmation, affirming that Contractor has examined the legal work status of such employee, and shall comply with all of the other requirements of the Department program. If Contractor fails to comply with any requirement of this provision or C.R.S. §8-17.5-102 et seq., County may terminate this Agreement for breach and, if so terminated, Contractor shall be liable for damages.
PROCEDURES FOR SUPPLEMENTAL PAYMENT CALCULATIONS All calculations required by this Article VI, including but not limited to: (i) the calculation of the Applicant’s Stipulated Supplemental Payment Amount; (ii) the determination of both the Annual Limit and the Aggregate Limit; (iii) the effect, if any, of the Aggregate Limit upon the actual amount of Supplemental Payments eligible to be paid to the District by the Applicant; and (iv) the carry forward and accumulation of any of the Applicant’s Stipulated Supplemental Payment Amounts unpaid by the Applicant due to the Aggregate Limit in previous years, shall be calculated by the Third Party selected pursuant to Section 4.3.
