Procuring Contracting Officer Clause Samples
The "Procuring Contracting Officer" clause defines the individual who has the authority to enter into, administer, and terminate contracts on behalf of the government or contracting entity. This clause typically specifies the officer's responsibilities, such as issuing modifications, making determinations, and ensuring compliance with contract terms. By clearly identifying the official point of contact and decision-maker, the clause ensures that all contractual actions are properly authorized and helps prevent confusion or disputes regarding authority during the contract's execution.
