G.2.1.1 CAR 1352.201-70 Contracting Officer’s Authority The Contracting Officer (CO) – ProTech-Weather Contract Level The ProTech-Weather CO, within the AGO Strategic Sourcing Acquisition Division (SSAD), has overall responsibility for administration of ProTech-Weather. The CO, without right of delegation, is the only person authorized to make or approve any changes in any of the requirements of this contract, and, notwithstanding any provisions contained elsewhere in this contract, the said authority remains solely in the CO. In the event the contractor makes any changes at the direction of any person other than the CO, the change will be considered to have been made without authority and no adjustment will be made in the contract terms and conditions, including price. Government Personnel a. Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) The Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) is the only individual with authority to act as an agent of the government under this contract. Only the PCO has authority to:
Government Personnel. The Government shall identify Non-commissioned Officers who are JSOMTC staff and who will develop class rosters; arrange for student orders, billeting and coordinate travel; in-process and out-process students at the course and perform other, non-faculty functions as their commander directs. These NCO’s do not work for the Contractor.
Government Personnel. St. Xxxx conducts business with the highest level of integrity and in full compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”). Consistent with the FCPA, St. Jude prohibits the payment by St. Jude personnel or agents of “anything of value” (i.e., anything with objective or subjective xxxxx, such as cash, entertainment, promises of future employment or charitable contributions made at the request of a foreign official) to a foreign official for any purpose. In addition, the U.S. government regulates the type of business courtesies that can be given to U.S. government personnel. The promise, offer or delivery to an official or employee of the U.S. government of a gift, favor or other gratuity in violation of these rules is prohibited. HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES AUDIT. Until the expiration of four (4) years after the furnishing of any services under this Agreement, Vendor shall make available upon written request of the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, the Comptroller General, or any of their duly authorized representatives, this Agreement and the books, documents and records of Vendor which are necessary to certify the nature and extent of costs incurred under this Agreement. If Vendor carries out any of the duties of this Agreement through a subcontract with a value of $10,000 or more over a 12 month period with a related organization, such subcontract shall include a clause to the effect that until the expiration of four (4) years after the furnishing of any services under the subcontract, the related organization shall make available upon written request of the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, the Comptroller General, or any of their duly authorized representatives, the subcontract and the books, documents and records of the related organization that are necessary to certify the nature and extent of costs incurred under that subcontract.
Government Personnel. Notwithstanding any restrictions in this charter party to the contrary, Owner agrees to the embark and berth a minimum of fifteen (15) government personnel, including supercargo and armed force protection personnel as provided for under the Force Protection clause. In the event complying with this requirement exceeds the Vessel’s Certificate of Inspection (COI), Owner will advise the Charterer and agrees to make reasonable efforts to obtain all appropriate waivers so as to allow the Vessel(s) to carry such additional personnel. If Owner is unable to obtain the necessary waivers, Owner shall notify the Charterer immediately. The cost of any additional lifesaving equipment shall be for Owner’s account. The cost of berthing and victualling the Government personnel will be reimbursed at a fixed rate of $30 per day.
