Common use of Professional Development/Dues Clause in Contracts

Professional Development/Dues. The Assistant Superintendent shall maintain and improve the Assistant Superintendent’s professional competence. In this regard, the District shall bear the reasonable expense of subscriptions to appropriate professional journals and publications, memberships in professional organizations, including the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), and attendance at state and local conferences, with prior notice to the Superintendent. Out-of-state conferences may be attended, at District cost, with Board approval or Board ratification.
