Professional Leave Full time Faculty Members shall be entitled to a total of two (2) days non-accumulative leave of absence with full pay for attendance at professional meetings, conferences, conventions, for the purpose of school visitation, or for the purpose of receiving a higher degree. Additional days may be granted at the discretion of the Superintendent. Faculty Member requests for leave with pay under section 6.2.2, 6.3, and 6.4 shall be in writing, stating the clause (6.2.2, 6.3 or 6.4) and reason(s) for the leave and submitted to the building Principal who will evaluate the request in terms of the effect on his/her school and make recommendations to the Superintendent. Approval by the Superintendent will be in writing to the Faculty Member.
