Professional Sports Teams. If Vendor is a “professional sports team” as defined by Texas Occupations Code Section 2004.002, Vendor will play the United States national anthem at the beginning of each team sporting event held at the Vendor’s home venue or other venue controlled by Vendor for the event. Failure to comply with this obligation constitutes a default of this Contract, and immediately subjects Vendor to the penalties for default, such as repayment of money received or ineligibility for additional money. In addition, Vendor may be debarred from contracting with the State. The GLO or the Attorney General may strictly enforce this provision.*
