Common use of Profit or reserves Clause in Contracts

Profit or reserves. The purchaser allows the Provider to have profit (for-profit providers only). No reserve will be allowed. The profit is limited by expenditures on allowable cost that the Provider incurs in performing the services purchased under this contract. Allowable costs and profit are defined in the Department of Health Services’ Allowable Cost Policy Manual and further described in 2 CFR Part 225 (formerly OMB Circular A-87) and part 230 (formerly OMB Circular A-122).
