Common use of Progress Reports and Consultation Clause in Contracts

Progress Reports and Consultation. General Contractor shall submit to Owner by the sixteenth (16th) day of each month, or if the sixteenth (16th) is not a Business Day, then on the first Business Day following such day, a written progress report (in form reasonably satisfactory to Owner) which report shall include a description of the progress of the Work, details regarding the completion of any milestones in the Payment Schedule, the status of the supply of goods, materials and Equipment necessary for the completion of the Work, a comparison of the actual schedule of the Work with the Project Schedule, and an evaluation of problems and deficiencies and a description of any planned corrective action with respect thereto, current manpower at site and identification of issues that may be of concern in the future if not timely addressed. The monthly progress report shall be delivered to the Owner, and is required prior to or concurrent with monthly invoices. GEC shall promptly notify Owner in writing at any time if GEC has reason to believe that there will be a material deviation in the Project Schedule which may result in GEC failing to meet a Guaranteed Completion Date or may affect the time required for Owner to perform any of its obligations under Article 4 above, and Contractor will specify in said notice any corrective action planned to be taken by Contractor.
