Common use of Progression Criteria for Increments Clause in Contracts

Progression Criteria for Increments. (a) An employee will be entitled to progress by annual increments to the top of the relevant salary range, provided the employee has not refused to participate in a professional development meeting with their supervisor pursuant to clause 27.0 – Professional Development - of this Agreement. (b) An employee who has not met with their supervisor pursuant to clause 27.0 – Professional Development – of this Agreement, or where an employee wishes to apply for two or more increments will be required to make an application to their supervisor based on performance and achievements against the relevant UNSW Position Classification Standards – Schedule 4 of this Agreement. (c) The granting of two increments requires the approval of the Xxxx and must be based on outstanding achievement over the previous 12 months. (d) The granting of more than two increments requires the approval of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and must be based on exceptionally outstanding achievement over the previous 12 months.
