Prohibition against Disposition/Encumbrance. Any equipment, material, or real property that Grantee purchases or improves with Grant Funds must not be sold, transferred, encumbered (other than original financing) or otherwise disposed of during the Award Term without Prior Approval of Grantor unless a longer period is required in PART TWO or PART THREE and permitted by 2 CFR Part 200 Subpart D. Use or disposition of real property acquired or improved using Grant Funds must comply with the requirements of 2 CFR 200.311. Real property, equipment, and intangible property that are acquired or improved in whole or in part using Grant Funds are subject to the provisions of 2 CFR 200.316. Grantor may require the Grantee to record liens or other appropriate notices of record to indicate that personal or real property has been acquired or improved with this Award and that use and disposition conditions apply to the property.
