Common use of Project Implementation Teams Clause in Contracts

Project Implementation Teams. The PMT will develop, guide, and direct Project Implementation Teams that are responsible for designing and implementing the Project consistent with the Base Program, Target Cost, and Added Value Incentive Items. The PITS will be organized into interdisciplinary, cross-functional teams that will vary depending upon the stage of the Project. These cross-functional teams may be temporary for certain issues or may be formed for the duration of the Project. The cross-functional teams will collaborate regarding Project elements, including site use and improvements, selection of materials, building systems, and equipment. The PITS will meet regularly with the PMT throughout the Target Value Design process to evaluate functionality, constructability, sustainability, life cycle cost analysis, and Added Value Incentive Items. The PITS will not have decision making authority, but the PMT will actively seek and consider input and counsel of the PITS.
