Common use of Promotional Adjustment Clause in Contracts

Promotional Adjustment. An Employee's salary after promotion shall not be less than the floor of the new rank or classification. If after the Economic Adjustment and the Progress Through the Ranks adjustment, an Employee's salary falls below the floor of the new rank or classification, then a further adjustment shall be made to bring the Employee's salary up to the floor of the rank or classification. This adjustment shall be known as a promotional adjustment.
