Common use of Proration of Costs Clause in Contracts

Proration of Costs. Cost of operation shall be defined as the cost of carrying out the scope of the Cooperative Transportation Program as set forth in Section 2 (Scope of Transportation Cooperative); Excess cost is defined as those costs greater than State reimbursement. Excess costs are distributed to each district on a percentage basis. Bus mileage and hourly bus usage are the components of the percentage used for distribution of excess costs. Costs associated with extracurricular and field trips will be billed back to each district separately and not considered in the excess cost percentage. The calculations, necessary adjustments, and intra-district excess costs xxxxxxxx shall be the responsibility of the Fiscal Officer of the Woodland School District (Cooperative Fiscal agent) or his or her designee, under the direction of the Administrative Council.
