PROTECTION AGAINST INSECTS. Many different types of insects can damage Household Effects in transit or storage. The contractor shall take measures to prevent such damage, with the following constituting the minimum acceptable measures: (a) Household Effects susceptible to insect damage shall be carefully inspected prior to packaging and packing. If infestation is present, the contractor shall advise both the client and the COR, and note this on the Inventory List. (b) Items made of wool shall be wrapped and packaged and securely sealed to prevent entry of insects.
