Common use of Protection of Investments Clause in Contracts

Protection of Investments. The Contracting Parties shall grant fair and equitable treatment to investments made by investors of the other Contracting Party. They shall not subject the administration, maintenance, use, transfer, enjoyment or termination of investments made by investors of one Contracting Party in the territory of the other Contracting Party, and the companies and projects in which such investments were made, to any discriminatory or legally unjustified measures.

Protection of Investments. The Each Contracting Parties Party shall grant undertake to secure a fair and equitable treatment its land and sea territory to the investments made by investors of the other Contracting Party. They shall not subject , be refraining from taking any unjustified or discriminatory procedure, which may impede the administrationlegal or actual running of such investments, or their maintenance, use, transfer, enjoyment benefit or termination of investments made by investors of one Contracting Party in the territory of the other Contracting Party, and the companies and projects in which such investments were made, to any discriminatory or legally unjustified measuresliquidation.
