The MCO must provide a combination of written and oral methods designed to effectively inform all EPSDT-eligible individuals (or their families) about the EPSDT program. The MCO must have an established process for ensuring all reminders, follow-ups, and outreach to enrollees are accessible and culturally competent for all enrollee populations. The MCO must provide all EPSDT eligible individuals (or their families) with accurate, current information about the EPSDT program using clear and non-technical language. The MCO must inform each new enrollee under the age of twenty-one (21) about HealthCheck services as specified by 42 CFR §441.56 within five (5) calendar days of receipt of the monthly enrollment file.
