Provisions for Termination of an Established. Job Sharing Arrangement Members or their Supervisors may make application for termination of an established job sharing arrangement to the Job Sharing Committee at least 60 days prior to the anticipated termination date. The party making an application for termination shall provide their notice of intent to terminate to all parties. The Job Sharing Committee will review an application for termination and make a recommendation to the Chief of Police. Approval of such application will be considered only in the presence of extenuating circumstances, and taking into account the operational requirements of the Service. If it is agreed to terminate an arrangement and a decision is made to continue job sharing in the unit/bureau, the job share position will be posted for five (5) calendar days. If a new partner is chosen, the agreement will continue; if a suitable candidate is not found the remaining job sharer will be given not less than 14 days’ notice that the position is reverting back to a full-time position.
