PSAP Limitations Sample Clauses
The PSAP Limitations clause defines the restrictions and boundaries related to the use of Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) within a service or agreement. Typically, this clause clarifies that certain services, such as VoIP or internet-based communications, may not provide full access to emergency response centers or may have limitations in routing emergency calls. For example, it may specify that calls to 911 may not function during power outages or if the internet connection is disrupted. The core function of this clause is to inform users of potential limitations in emergency call capabilities, thereby managing expectations and allocating risk regarding emergency communications.
PSAP Limitations. The PSAP designated to receive 911 calls for a particular Registered Location through the Service may not have a system configured for Enhanced 911 services. The PSAP may not be able to capture or retain ANI/ALI or otherwise determine the phone number, Registered Location, or physical location of the caller.
PSAP Limitations. The PSAP designated to receive 9-1-1 calls for a particular Initial Registered Location through WPaaS may not have a system configured for Enhanced 9-1-1 services. The PSAP may not be able to capture or retain automatic numbering or location information or otherwise determine the phone number, Initial Registered Location, or physical location of the caller.
PSAP Limitations. You acknowledge and understand that BluIP’s transmission of Dispatchable Location and call-back information may not be usable by any PSAP that lacks the technical capability to receive, process, and use such information. You further acknowledge and understand that in cases where a PSAP, designated statewide default answering point, or appropriate local emergency authority is not capable of receiving and processing either ANI or location information, BluIP is not obligated to transmit such information. Notwithstanding the foregoing, BluIP shall, in all cases, transmit over the Wireline E911 Network all emergency calls to the PSAP, designated statewide default answering point, or appropriate local emergency authority that serves the caller’s Dispatchable Location.
PSAP Limitations. The PSAP designated to receive 9-1-1 calls for a particular Registered Location through Workplace may not have a system configured for all services. The PSAP may not be able to capture or retain or otherwise determine the phone number, Registered Location, or physical location of the caller.
