Public Awareness. Each Party shall, as appropriate, promote the adoption of measures to enhance public awareness of the importance of respecting intellectual property rights and the detrimental effects of intellectual property rights infringement.
Public Awareness. 790 The Contractor agrees, at its own expense, to provide information to Customers as required by Section 791 4.4.D. All printed or digitally distributed materials produced for Customers must be approved in advance 792 by the County Contract Manager. To the extent reasonably possible, the Contractor shall accommodate 793 the inclusion of any County-directed information on its regular billing statements upon the request of 794 the County Contract Manager without cost to the County. If the County requests the distribution of 795 information on a topic other than that required for compliance with the Recycling Plan in a form that 796 cannot be printed or included with the Contractor's regular bill, the County and Contractor will share in 797 the cost of printing and distribution. 798 At least thirty (30) calendar days prior to an adjustment in rates, Contractor shall notify all of its then- 799 current Customers of the change including the current and proposed rates for all Service Levels available 800 to that Customer Type. 801 ARTICLE 8: OPERATING ASSETS 802 Section 8.1: Operating Assets
Public Awareness. The Participating Parties shall promote public awareness of good conservation, exploitation and management policies and practices in relation to this Agreement by, inter alia:
(a) informing stakeholders of the status of this Agreement;
(b) strengthening regional and subregional institutions working with citizens, especially fishers and fishing communities, with a view to increasing knowledge and understanding of methods of conserving, sustaining and preserving living aquatic resources and of avoiding overexploitation of them;
(c) collaborating with relevant educational institutions to introduce sustainable use of living aquatic resources into their programmes;
(d) establish research and education programmes to raise awareness of the impact of global warming, climate change, sea level rise and other environmental changes on the fisheries sector; and
(e) promoting recognition of the Caribbean Sea as a special area in the context of sustainable development.
Public Awareness. The Parties shall take such measures as may be required to make the general public aware of the conservation status of the seal population, of the content and aims of this Agreement, and of the measures they have taken pursuant to this Agreement, including the Conservation and Management Plan, to improve this conservation status.
Public Awareness. The parties will cooperate in promoting public awareness of, and respect for this agreement.
Public Awareness. The signatory agencies are committed to public awareness activities. A wide variety of activities have been included to reach both the served and non-served population with information on the need for and availability of early intervention services but it is felt that more attention and planning needs to be directed to this area. Brochures and pamphlets are distributed at local health fairs, the Children’s Fair at Susquehanna Valley Mall and Columbia Mall, through school district newsletters and physician’s offices. Newspaper articles and advertisements have been run in local newspapers. Information is shared with child care settings, libraries and other sources as identified and upon request.
Public Awareness. Sensys Gatso shall, to the extent permitted by law, assist and support Customer’s efforts in public education and awareness programs, by providing information including, but not limited to, violation statistics and violation statistic improvements. Sensys Gatso shall provide Customer with a pamphlet that Customer may reproduce and distribute to Customer residents (each a “Pamphlet”). The Pamphlet, which may be customized to include branding provided by Customer, shall include a description of the operation of the System in non-technical terms.
Public Awareness. Each Party agrees to encourage public awareness of and involvement in the environmental review processes in which the Parties are now engaged.
Public Awareness. 7.1 Increase public awareness on air pollution issues using all formal and informal communication channels.
7.2 Enhance public participation on air pollution issues by capacity development (education and training) in governmental, educational, and civil society organisations.
7.3 Engage civil society and other stakeholders on collaborative air pollution projects.
7.4 Promote accessibility to information on air pollution issues and exchange of information, education and research on air pollution.
7.5 Develop effective communication strategies on air pollution impacts on human health and the environment.
7.6 Promote advocacy, public awareness and participation concerning indoor air quality and domestic energy management.
Public Awareness. APG shall cause IAs to undertake public awareness campaigns on the Project and its benefits, including but not limited to, information related to the RPs, EIA, EMP, EMDP, GAP and SAP, to be conducted through information disclosure, education and consultation in languages relevant to the location.
