Public Employee Pension Reform Act. (PEPRA) of 2013 Pursuant to PEPRA, effective January 1, 2013, each PEPRA employee shall pay half of the normal cost to the PERS cost share employee contribution. The normal cost shall be determined by the CalPERS actuarial report. The normal cost shall be adjusted pursuant to PEPRA.
