Common use of Public Information Pertaining to Clause in Contracts

Public Information Pertaining to. the Official Business of Governmental Bodies and to Contracts by Certain State Governmental Entities that Involve the Exchange or Creation of Public Information. The Texas State University System adheres to all statutes, court decisions and the opinions of the Texas Attorney General with respect to disclosure of public information under the Texas Public Information Act (“TPIA”), Chapter 552, Texas Government Code. In accordance with Section 552.002 of TPIA and Section 2252.907, Texas Government Code, and at no additional charge to Owner, Contractor is required to make any information created or exchanged with Owner pursuant to this Contract, that is not otherwise excepted from disclosure under the TPIA, available in a format reasonably requested by Owner that is accessible by the public. The following format(s) shall be deemed to be in compliance with this provision: electronic files in Word, PDF, or similar generally accessible format.
