Common use of Public Procurement Clause in Contracts

Public Procurement. 1. The States Parties to this Agreement consider the effective liberalization of their respective public procurement markets on the basis of non-discrimination and reciprocity, as an integral objective of this Agreement. 2. To this effect, the Parties shall elaborate rules within the framework of the Joint Committee with a view to ensuring such liberalization. Due account shall be given to developments under the auspices of the WTO.
