Pump Stations and Forcemains. Due to maintenance concerns, pump systems (includes the pumps, forcemains, electrical equipment, structures, and appurtenances) are not allowed for publicly maintained stormwater systems unless approved by the City. In the event that a new stormwater pump station within the publicly maintained system will be added or retrofitted, the developer will be required to meet City requirements for pump types, configuration, instrumentation and controls, and startup and testing. If a pump station and forcemain is required, refer to Section 5-2.6. 10.1 Headwater‌‌ The minimum culvert dimension at any intersection or street crossing shall be 12 inches in diameter. To design culverts larger than 18 inches in diameter, follow Chapter 9 of the ODOT Hydraulics Manual. The City or the Engineer of Record will determine when a design analysis is required.
