PURCHASE AUTHORIZATION PROCEDURES Sample Clauses

The "Purchase Authorization Procedures" clause defines the process and requirements for obtaining approval before making purchases on behalf of an organization. Typically, this clause outlines who has the authority to approve purchases, the documentation needed, and any thresholds or limits that trigger additional review or higher-level authorization. For example, purchases over a certain dollar amount may require management or board approval, while routine expenses can be authorized by department heads. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all expenditures are properly vetted and authorized, thereby preventing unauthorized spending and maintaining financial control within the organization.
