PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL. 12.1. In its purchase or lease of the required production equipment, raw materials, parts and components and services, the JVC shall give priority to purchasing or leasing them in China, unless the terms on price, quality, reliability, service, and maintenance and delivery time available in China are less favourable than those available aboard, and under which case, subject to Section 8.11 (10) herein, the General Manager has the right to decide to purchase them from abroad.
