Qualified Domestic Relations Orders. A Qualified Domestic Relations Order, or QDRO, is a signed domestic relations order issued by a State Court which creates, recognizes or assigns to an alternate payee(s) the right to receive all or part of a Participant's Plan benefit- An alternate payee is a Spouse, former Spouse, child, or other dependent of a Participant who is treated as a Beneficiary under the Plan as a result of the QDRO. The Administrator may establish QDRO procedures, but in the absence of such procedures, the Administrator will determine if a domestic relations order is a Qualified Domestic Relations Order in accordance with the following:
