Common use of Qualified Grandchild Clause in Contracts

Qualified Grandchild. This is a covered grandchild of an enrollee or an enrollee’s spouse who is a newborn, and who resides with and is financially dependent on the covered grandparent. The child must be either under 26 years of age or a disabled dependent, as described below.

Qualified Grandchild. This is a covered grandchild of an enrollee or an enrollee’s spouse who is a newborn, financially dependent upon the covered grandparent and who resides with and is financially dependent on the that covered grandparentgrandparent continuously from birth. The child grandchild must be either under 26 years of age or a disabled dependent, as described below.
