Radios for Security Officers. The University shall provide communication equipment to all security officers at all times security officers are expected to be on duty. Radios provided by the University to security officers must be in good working condition, and be able to receive incoming communication as well as transmit outgoing communication. Radios that are not operable will be replaced by the Public Safety Department of the University upon receiving notification by a security officer that a particular radio does not work. Within 90 days after the effective date of this MOU, AFSCME-MD will provide to the Department of Public Safety a list of the particular areas of University buildings and facilities where radios will not function.
