Common use of Ramp Rate Clause in Contracts

Ramp Rate. The rate of change in the level of generation for a specified period within all applicable Operational Constraints as determined by the District in its sole discretion. The maximum Ramp Rate is a variable quantity based upon these limitations. Remedial Action Schemes (RAS) – Any action implemented by the District utilizing Rocky Reach and Rock Island, as applicable, to maintain the transfer capabilities and stability of the Western Interconnection and employed consistent with the definition of RAS in the NERC glossary.
