Accrual RateCompensatory time for employees will accrue at the rate of one and one-half hours for each one hour of overtime worked.
Accrual RateEmployees will earn their pension with an accrual rate of 3% for the first 20 years of service then 2% for each additional year of service with a maximum of 80% of Final Average Compensation.
Accrual Rate. (a) A full-time employee shall accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave per month. (b) A full-time employee on leave without pay or a part-time employee shall accrue sick leave on a pro rata basis. (c) Actual time in paid status, except for educational leave, shall be included in determining the pro rata accrual of sick leave each month.

Accrual Rate. A. Employees covered by this Agreement shall accrue four (4) hours of illness leave for each eighty (80) regularly scheduled work hours on active pay status with a maximum accrual of 1,500 hours. B. Employees with personal leave balances remaining from the 2008 excess illness leave conversion shall continue to have their personal leave hours scheduled and authorized in accordance with the provisions for annual leave. C. Personal leave hours shall not be considered work time. D. Personal leave hours shall not be donated or transferred to other employees or as donations to Union Pool Time. E. Unused personal leave hours shall not be paid out upon separation from employment.

PTO is accrued on all hours paid, up to eighty (80) hours in a pay period, excluding standby hours and donated PTO hours.
Accrual RatePermanent full-time employees shall be granted vacation leaves with pay at their regular rate as follows:
Accrual Rate a. For the first year of employment, vacation time will be earned at the rate of one (1) day per month. b. Beginning with the second year of employment, vacation time will be earned at the rate of one and one-fourth (1 ¼) days per month. c. Beginning with the fifth year of employment, vacation time will be earned at the rate of one and one-half (1 ½) days per month. d. Beginning with the tenth year of employment, vacation time will be earned at the rate of one and two-thirds (1 ⅔) days per month. e. Beginning with the fifteenth year of employment, vacation time will be earned at the rate of two (2) days per month.

Service time for vacation accrual for employees employed on that date will not be modified by the preceding sentence. An employee who has retired in accordance with the provisions of any retirement plan offered by the State and who is employed by the state or any political subdivision of the state on or after March 1, 1994, shall not have his prior service with the State or any political subdivision of the State counted for the purpose of computing vacation leave.
