Common use of Rank of Associate Professor Clause in Contracts

Rank of Associate Professor. Persons promoted to this rank shall hold an earned doctorate or terminal degree in their field or related field, and shall have demonstrated excellence in teaching, evidence of scholarly or creative productivity, and active involvement on university committees. In certain disciplines a master's degree plus professional certification appropriate to the discipline will meet the degree requirements.
