Common use of Rank of Associate Professor Clause in Contracts

Rank of Associate Professor. To be employed at the University at the rank of Associate Professor (tenure-track) at the University, the candidate must have the following credentials: 1. Doctorate, discipline-appropriate degree in area of teaching specialization from a regionally accredited institution, or 2. Master’s degree in area of teaching specialization and six (6) years of full-time teaching experience as an Assistant Professor at a regionally accredited institution; or if there is evidence of exceptional scholarship, professional, and/or teaching experience this may be considered as fulfilling or partially fulfilling the teaching experience.
