Rate of Pay upon Promotion or Re-Classification. a) An employee who is promoted to a position with a higher salary range will receive an increase to the closest step that is higher than the employee’s current step plus one step. Except as set out in 10.03 b), no employee, subsequent to the application of this formula, will receive less than the eighty percent (80%) step or more than the top step of the new range.
