Reactive Power Control. Seller shall control its reactive power by automatic voltage regulation control. Seller shall automatically regulate voltage at a point, the point of regulation, between the Seller's generator terminal and the Point of Interconnection to be specified by Company, to within 0.5% of a voltage or power factor specified by the Company System Operator to the extent allowed by the Facility reactive power capabilities as defined in Section 3(b) (Reactive Power Characteristics) of this Attachment B (Facility Owned by Seller).
Reactive Power Control. The strategy for temporary overvoltage limitation must not limit post-disturbance AC reactive compensation capabilities to less than specified in Appendix G, Section 9.1. If reactive equipment tripping is used for TOV control, the equipment shall be available for re-energization in accordance with Appendix G, Section 6.7.3. If AC faults, on the Connecting Transmission Owner or PJM system reduce the AC voltage at either the POI or the 230kV PJM interconnection to a magnitude less than 50% of nominal positive sequence voltage for a duration longer than 100 ms this requirement shall not apply. Any reactive power equipment tripping shall be performed using switchgear rated to perform the switching at the maximum voltage present prior to de-energization.
Reactive Power Control. Company may designate voltage control, constant Mvar, or power factor control. If constant voltage control is specified Seller shall regulate the voltage at the Point of Interconnection to a voltage specified by Company System Operator. If power factor control is required, the power factor at which energy is to be delivered by Seller to Company shall be adjustable and adjusted as necessary, to the specified power factor. The reactive power range will be determined by the Interconnection Requirements Study. The design for the voltage regulation/power factor control will be reviewed and approved by Company.
Reactive Power Control. Initially the Facility shall operate the Reactive Power function in reactive power control mode with a set-point of 2MVAr. Facility Owner shall not change the functional mode and set-point of the Facility unless instructed by CEB.
Reactive Power Control. The Facility shall control the voltage at its side of its Interconnection Boundary with a set-point of 1.00 per unit unless otherwise specified by CEB. The Facility shall not change the functional mode and set-point unless instructed by CEB.
Reactive Power Control. The study shall include at least the following:
a) Reactive power control principles for converter operation during steady state and transient conditions including STATCOM mode of operation
b) Switchover and control feature between AC voltage/reactive power controls
c) Reference variable control criteria
d) Criteria for switching of reactive power sub banks, as applicable.
e) Operator operation, including control and monitoring features
f) Equipment description, emphasizing reliability/availability and maintenance features
g) Validity checking of signals
Reactive Power Control. Seller shall control its reactive power by automatic voltage regulation control. Seller shall automatically regulate voltage at a point, the point of regulation, between the Seller's generator terminal and the Point of Interconnection to be specified by Company, to within 0.5% of a voltage [DRAFTING NOTE: FOR MECO, ADD "or power factor".] specified by the Company System Operator to the extent allowed by the Facility reactive power capabilities as defined in Section 3(b)(Reactive Amount) of this Attachment B (Facility Owned by Seller). [FOR FACILITIES CONNECTED TO THE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, THESE REQUIREMENTS MAY BE CHANGED BY COMPANY UPON COMPLETION OF THE IRS.]
Reactive Power Control. Subscriber Organization shall control its reactive power by automatic voltage regulation control. Subscriber Organization shall automatically regulate voltage at a point, the point of regulation, between the Subscriber Organization's generator terminal and the point of interconnection to be specified by Company, to within 0.5% of a voltage specified by the Company System operator to the extent allowed by the Generating Facility reactive power capabilities as defined in Section 5(b) of this Exhibit E. [FOR FACILITIES CONNECTED TO THE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, THESE REQUIREMENTS MAY BE CHANGED BY COMPANY UPON COMPLETION OF THE TECHNICAL REVIEW.]
Reactive Power Control. In this control mode the operator will set a reactive power setpoint value for the generation venue. The controller will inject the requested reactive power into the electrical power grid, using all available generation sources. All subsystems shall be adjusted around their capability curves to achieve the reactive power setpoint.
Reactive Power Control. Reactive Power control is a control function controlling the Reactive Power supply and absorption at the Interconnection Boundary independently of the active power and the voltage. If the Reactive Power control set point is to be changed by CEB, the Facility shall update its set point value in response to the new value within two seconds. The Facility shall respond to the new set point within 30 seconds after receipt of an order to change the set point unless otherwise agreed with CEB. The controlled Reactive Power set point shall not deviate from the given set point by more than ±2% of the set point value or by ±0.5% of maximum Reactive Power after stabilization following a change of setpoint, whichever yields the highest tolerance. The Facility shall be able to receive a Reactive Power set point with an accuracy of at least 1 kVAR.
