Reactive Power Payment. Subject to the terms of this Agreement, the payment rates for the purposes of calculating the amount payable to the Service Provider by the Company in respect of the provision of Reactive Power will be as set out in the Charging Statement. The payment for the provision of Reactive Power is based on the Reactive Power capability of the Generating Unit. Payment will be made to the Service Provider in respect of each Trading Period in which the Generating Unit is Synchronised and/or has a Reactive Power Device in service. The Service Provider will be paid an amount calculated in accordance with paragraphs 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 on the basis of the Reactive Power capability of the Generating Unit, the Automatic Voltage Regulator Status and a scaling factor. The scaling factor is calculated from the declared capability and the contracted capability (as further described below).

  • Power Factor Design Criteria (Reactive Power A wind generating plant shall maintain a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, measured at the Point of Interconnection as defined in this LGIA, if the ISO’s System Reliability Impact Study shows that such a requirement is necessary to ensure safety or reliability. The power factor range standards can be met using, for example without limitation, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors if agreed to by the Connecting Transmission Owner for the Transmission District to which the wind generating plant will be interconnected, or a combination of the two. The Developer shall not disable power factor equipment while the wind plant is in operation. Wind plants shall also be able to provide sufficient dynamic voltage support in lieu of the power system stabilizer and automatic voltage regulation at the generator excitation system if the System Reliability Impact Study shows this to be required for system safety or reliability.

  • Cloud Computing State Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP In accordance with Senate Bill 475, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 2054.0593, Contractor acknowledges and agrees that, if providing cloud computing services for System Agency, Contractor must comply with the requirements of the state risk and authorization management program and that System Agency may not enter or renew a contract with Contractor to purchase cloud computing services for the agency that are subject to the state risk and authorization management program unless Contractor demonstrates compliance with program requirements. If providing cloud computing services for System Agency that are subject to the state risk and authorization management program, Contractor certifies it will maintain program compliance and certification throughout the term of the Contract.
