Readiness and Promptness. The Attorney agrees to be prepared and appear in court promptly at or before the time set for hearings and not to rely on Court staff to notify or have to locate him/her when court is ready to proceed. The Attorney agrees to meet with her client and discuss the case before the time set for hearing, not at the time set for hearing, particularly in those instances in which the client is in custody.
