Common use of Receipt of Layoff Benefits or Payments Clause in Contracts

Receipt of Layoff Benefits or Payments. The payments made under the Plan shall not be considered a part of any P.S.O.'s wages for any purposes (except as payments are treated as if they were wages solely for purposes of income tax withholding). No person who receives any payment under the Plan shall for that reason be deemed an employee of the Employer during such period.
