Reckoning of Time. The straight. time of an Employee shall be reckoned by the shift in the following instances: (1) During the Employee's first (1st) calendar week of employment. (2) During the week the work covered by this Agreement is completed. A break in such work of five (5) or more days excluding Saturdays, Sundays or holidays, shall be considered the same as a completion of such work. (3) If work is shut down by the Contracting Authority; by any Governmental agency having authority to suspend the work; by lack of fuel, power or water, or by reason of strike or if the crew they are servicing does not appear for work when work is available and such fact or facts is or are confirmed by the Contracting Authority in writing.
