RECORD RETENTION AND ACCESS TO RECORDS. A. The Contractor shall make available for audit, review, or evaluation to the Department, federal agencies or their designees all records relating to the Plan, including but not limited to the records referenced in Section 7.1. The Contractor shall afford access to these items at its offices at all reasonable times. In the event that the Department, federal agencies or their designees request access to the records after the expiration or termination of this Agreement but before the expiration of the period for which the Contractor is required to retain such records, the Contractor, at its own expense, must send copies of the requested records to the requesting entity within thirty (30) days of such request. B. The Contractor shall preserve all records relating to the Plan, including but not limited to the records referenced in Section 7.1 for a period of ten (10) years from the termination date of this Agreement.
