Common use of Recorded Information Clause in Contracts

Recorded Information. No adverse comments shall be placed in a peace officer's personnel file or other place of record unless the peace officer has been afforded an opportunity to read and sign the comments. Should the peace officer refuse to sign the comments after reading them, a witness shall document that the officer was provided the opportunity to read and sign the comments but refused to do so, and the comments shall be entered into the personnel file.
