Common use of Records for Change Order Work or Protest Work Clause in Contracts

Records for Change Order Work or Protest Work. During the course of its performance of any Change Order Work or any Protest Work, the Contractor shall furnish to the Owner and the Owner’s Representative on a daily basis for each day that Contractor is performing such Change Order Work or Protest Work a written statement listing the following information:‌ 5.6.1 the name and social security number of each worker employed on such work; 5.6.2 the number of hours each such worker has worked; 5.6.3 the type of work each such worker has performed; 5.6.4 the nature and quantity of any Materials and Equipment furnished or used in connection with such work; and 5.6.5 the identity of each individual or entity from whom such Materials and Equipment have been purchased or rented. The Contractor’s failure to comply with the requirements of this Section 5.6 shall be deemed a waiver of any claim for payment for such work or services as Change Order Work or Protest Work.
