Recyclable Materials Containers/Collection. Initially, the Collection Contractor shall furnish collection containers for Recyclable Materials on the premises of each School District building/facility at the location, number, container type, and container size as specified in Exhibit E and such containers shall be clearly marked with signs, approved by SWACO, stating, in the substantially the same form as: RECYCLABLE MATERIALS ONLY. Signage shall specifically delineate which items are recyclable materials only: copy paper, newspaper, paperboard, corrugated cardboard, plastic bottles and jugs, glass bottles and jars, metal containers, carton containers and juice boxes, disposable paper, plastic and aluminum cups. All containers shall also be clearly marked with Contractor's name, and the failure to do so will result in free additional collections from that School District Building/Facility until appropriate identification is placed on the Container. The number, size(s) and locations of the collection containers are subject to change in the discretion of the School District upon written notice to the Collection Contractor. The Collection Contractor shall replace lost or damaged collection containers at the request of the School District. In conformance with the specifications stated in this Agreement, the Collection Contractor shall collect all Recyclable Materials deposited in a Collection Contractor-provided collection container for Recyclable Materials, or from any other collection container used by the School District for Recyclable Materials, provided that the collection container can be readily identified by the driver, or the collection container is clearly marked as containing Recyclable Materials. By mutual agreement, the Collection Contractor shall install pilot technology or cameras on the Recyclable Materials Collection Containers and/or the Solid Waste Collection Containers. During the term of this Agreement, the Participating School District may require collection of Organics or food waste, e-waste, and other reusable items. However, the Participating School District reserve the right to contract for the collection, transportation and delivery for processing and separate processing for source-separated food wastes, e- waste, and other reusable items.

  • Recyclable Materials “Recyclable Materials” means Solid Waste consisting of any material 371 which retains useful properties and can be reclaimed after the production or consumption process.

  • Preservative-treated Wood Containing Arsenic Contractor may not purchase preservative-treated wood products containing arsenic in the performance of this Agreement unless an exemption from the requirements of Chapter 13 of the San Francisco Environment Code is obtained from the Department of the Environment under Section 1304 of the Code. The term “preservative-treated wood containing arsenic” shall mean wood treated with a preservative that contains arsenic, elemental arsenic, or an arsenic copper combination, including, but not limited to, chromated copper arsenate preservative, ammoniacal copper zinc arsenate preservative, or ammoniacal copper arsenate preservative. Contractor may purchase preservative-treated wood products on the list of environmentally preferable alternatives prepared and adopted by the Department of the Environment. This provision does not preclude Contractor from purchasing preservative-treated wood containing arsenic for saltwater immersion. The term “saltwater immersion” shall mean a pressure-treated wood that is used for construction purposes or facilities that are partially or totally immersed in saltwater.

  • REMANUFACTURED, RECYCLED, RECYCLABLE OR RECOVERED MATERIALS Upon the conditions specified in the Bid Specifications and in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, Contractors are encouraged to use recycled, recyclable or recovered materials in the manufacture of Products and packaging to the maximum extent practicable without jeopardizing the performance or intended end use of the Product or packaging unless such use is precluded due to health, welfare, safety requirements or in the Bid Specifications. Contractors are further encouraged to offer remanufactured Products to the maximum extent practicable without jeopardizing the performance or intended end use of the Product and unless such use is precluded due to health, welfare, safety requirements or by the Bid Specifications. Where such use is not practical, suitable, or permitted by the Bid Specifications, Contractor shall deliver new materials in accordance with the “Warranties" set forth below. Items with recycled, recyclable, recovered, refurbished or remanufactured content must be identified in the Bid or Bidder will be deemed to be offering new Product.

  • Containers The marine and intermodal cargo containers either owned or leased by the Borrower and employed by the Borrower in the conduct of its business, including, without limitation, refrigerated, dry van, tank, open top and flat rack containers and refrigeration units and generator sets associated therewith, but excluding any chassis for such containers.

  • Packaging Materials and Containers for Retail Sale Packaging materials and containers in which a good is packaged for retail sale shall, if classified with the good, be disregarded in determining whether all the non-originating materials used in the production of the good undergo the applicable change in tariff classification set out in Annex 4, and, if the good is subject to a regional value-content requirement, the value of such packaging materials and containers shall be taken into account as originating or non-originating materials, as the case may be, in calculating the regional value content of the good.

  • Computer Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of computer equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with Subchapter Y, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Computer Equipment Recycling Program and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality rules in 30 TAC Chapter 328.

  • Packing Materials and Containers for Shipment Packing materials and containers in which a good is packed for shipment shall be disregarded in determining whether:

  • Recycled Materials Xxxxxxx County encourages the use of products made of recycled materials and shall give preference in purchasing to products made of recycled materials if the products meet applicable specifications as to quantity and quality. Xxxxxxx County will be the sole judge in determining product preference application.

  • GARBAGE DISPOSAL, RECYCLING, AND BIODEGRADABLE MATERIALS A. Concessionaire shall be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Concession Premises. Concessionaire shall ensure placement of all garbage and trash generated by the Concession Operation in designated containers and that said containers are emptied daily, or as more frequently required by Department, at a location within the Area designated by Department. Disposal costs from this latter location shall be borne by Department. Concessionaire shall provide such additional trash containers as may be required to keep the immediate Concession Premises clean at all times. The type of trash containers provided by Concessionaire shall be approved by Department prior to use.
