Recyclable Materials Containers/Collection Clause Samples
Recyclable Materials Containers/Collection. Initially, the Collection Contractor shall furnish collection containers for Recyclable Materials on the premises of each School District building/facility at the location, number, container type, and container size as specified in Exhibit E and such containers shall be clearly marked with signs, approved by SWACO, stating, in the substantially the same form as: RECYCLABLE MATERIALS ONLY. Signage shall specifically delineate which items are recyclable materials only: copy paper, newspaper, paperboard, corrugated cardboard, plastic bottles and jugs, glass bottles and jars, metal containers, carton containers and juice boxes, disposable paper, plastic and aluminum cups. All containers shall also be clearly marked with Contractor's name, and the failure to do so will result in free additional collections from that School District Building/Facility until appropriate identification is placed on the Container. The number, size(s) and locations of the collection containers are subject to change in the discretion of the School District upon written notice to the Collection Contractor. The Collection Contractor shall replace lost or damaged collection containers at the request of the School District. In conformance with the specifications stated in this Agreement, the Collection Contractor shall collect all Recyclable Materials deposited in a Collection Contractor-provided collection container for Recyclable Materials, or from any other collection container used by the School District for Recyclable Materials, provided that the collection container can be readily identified by the driver, or the collection container is clearly marked as containing Recyclable Materials. By mutual agreement, the Collection Contractor shall install pilot technology or cameras on the Recyclable Materials Collection Containers and/or the Solid Waste Collection Containers. During the term of this Agreement, the Participating School District may require collection of Organics or food waste, e-waste, and other reusable items. However, the Participating School District reserve the right to contract for the collection, transportation and delivery for processing and separate processing for source-separated food wastes, e- waste, and other reusable items.
