All notaries in practice within England and Wales are required to hold insurance covering their notarial practice for civil liability for professional negligence and other matters. The Master of the Faculties has directed that the minimum level of cover for notaries is £1,000,000. We have professional indemnity insurance underwritten by Allianz Insurance PLC (as lead insurer). The territorial coverage is worldwide and the limit of indemnity is not less than the £1,000,000 minimum level of cover required of notaries by the Master of the Faculties.
