REDUCTION IN HOURS When Sample Clauses

The 'Reduction in Hours When' clause defines the circumstances under which an employee's working hours may be reduced. Typically, this clause outlines specific triggers such as changes in business needs, employee requests, or operational requirements that justify a reduction in scheduled hours. For example, it may apply if there is a downturn in workload or if an employee requests part-time status. The core function of this clause is to provide a clear framework for adjusting work hours, ensuring both employer and employee understand when and how such changes can occur, thereby reducing disputes and promoting flexibility.
