Common use of Referees for Teaching Clause in Contracts

Referees for Teaching. i. Each of the Xxxx and the candidate shall suggest up to 2 individuals to act as referees for Teaching. Referees for Teaching are normally faculty members from within the same Faculty or the University. Referees for Teaching can be external to the University if both the Xxxx and the candidate agree. No fewer than two (2) and no more than three (3) referees for Teaching shall be selected. The Xxxx shall arrange a meeting with the candidate not later than May 15 to review the names of referees for Teaching and attempt to reach agreement.
