Common use of REFERRAL ANNOUNCEMENT Clause in Contracts

REFERRAL ANNOUNCEMENT. When a Customer changes its service provider from NYNEX to XXXXXX FIBER, or from XXXXXX FIBER to NYNEX, and does not retain its original telephone number, the Party formerly providing service to such Customer shall provide a referral announcement ("Referral Announcement") on the abandoned telephone number which provides details on the Customer's new number. Referral Announcements shall be provided reciprocally, free of charge to either the other Party or the Customer, for a period of not less than four (4) months after the date the Customer changes its telephone number in the case of business Customers and not less than sixty (60) days after the date the Customer changes its telephone number in the case of residential Customers. However, if either Party provides Referral Announcements for a period different than the above respective periods when its Customers change their telephone numbers, such Party shall provide the same level of service to Customers of the other Party.
