REGIONAL DISTRICT MEMBERSHIP. 4.2.1 Yale First Nation may become a member of the Fraser Valley Regional District in accordance with Provincial Law. 4.2.2 If Yale First Nation becomes a member of the Fraser Valley Regional District under 4.2.1: a. it will be a Treaty First Nation member of the Fraser Valley Regional District in accordance with Provincial Law; b. it will appoint a Yale First Nation Director to the board of the Fraser Valley Regional District who will have the powers, duties and functions of a Treaty First Nation Director in accordance with Provincial Law; and c. Yale First Nation Land will form part of the Fraser Valley Regional District. 4.2.3 If Yale First Nation is a member of the Fraser Valley Regional District Yale First Nation may be required to use a Local Government dispute resolution process described in Provincial Law.
