Common use of Registrant Data Clause in Contracts

Registrant Data. a. The Registrar must retain full, accurate and validated details for the Registrant for whom a registration has been made using a Proxy Service. For avoidance of doubt this must not be another proxy or privacy service of any sort. b. The Registrar must promptly provide us with the following information on a quarterly basis: number of registrations using the Proxy Service; breakdown of Proxy Service users by geographic area/ city; abuse statistics in relation to Proxy Service registrations – including complaint numbers, suspensions and involvement in the DRS. c. On request by us not more than once in any 12 month period, we will audit the accuracy of a sample of the underlying Registrant data. Any such audit will be carried out by Nominet compliance, save that the Registrar may at its own cost use a reputable third party audit provider. d. Registrar must demonstrate to our reasonable satisfaction that the underlying Registrant data is secure and will be accessible by us in the event of Registrar business failure for any reason. This obligation could be satisfied either by use of an escrow provider or provision to us of a credible proxy service incident plan.
