Regulatory approximation. Ukraine shall adapt its legislation, including administrative, technical and other rules, to that of the EU Party existing at any time in the field of international maritime transport insofar as it serves to achieve the objectives of liberalisation, mutual access to the markets of the Parties, and the movement of passengers and of goods. This approximation will start on the date of signing of the Agreement, and will gradually extend to all the elements of the EU acquis referred to in Annex XVII to this Agreement.
